We met two women on our flight who will also be teaching with the EPIK program, and there are more in our hotel.
It is nice to meet other people who are in the same situation as us.
The flight was as good as you could expect when stuck in a seat for 14 hours. I chose the Korean-style meal for my first choice, and the bibimbap was delicious. There were sides of soup, kimchi and little dried fish. I succeeded in talking my seat neighbor into trying one, and then she one-upped me by ordering the spicy octopus for her next meal.
Now we are just relaxing in the hotel before heading out for dinner. We need to be up early tomorrow to head to our orientation in Daejon.
