South Korea

Leaving on a jet plane

Today we are leaving Korea. It’s sad. But, we feel like we did it right the past year. We have wonderful memories and have made lifelong friends. I am reminding myself:

“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
– Dr. Seuss

We have another adventure ahead. Today we fly to Vietnam. Then it’s on to Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Turkey and The Netherlands before heading to Detroit. (Oh, and there’s a 12-hour whirlwind pit stop in Dubai, too.)

한국 안녕! (And see you again.)

  1. Great quote. As my grandfather always says, “instead of dwelling on what you no longer have, be grateful for what you have had”. Same idea, different words. Cheers.
